This morning we woke up in our hotel room in New Orleans! Last night once we got into our room it was actually really quiet and same with tonight. So we walked down to this place called Café Du Monde and we got beignets and Cafe Au Lait (a frozen coffee drink).
We also saw Jackson Square before we walked to the WWII museum and little did we know 1 we would be there for about 5 hours and 2 we would be freezing out butts off…

We set off walking through the streets of New Orleans heading about a mile to the museum!! It was toasty out too!!
And about 30 minutes later we arrived all sweaty and makeup running... icky!
side note on the way there we saw this pretty mural so we took a selfie with it!

once we were in the museum it was chilly. We walked around and went to the bathroom before we went to see a 4-D movie in their theater! There was so much there it’s hard to see it all I mean the museum is only 5 building and they are currently building another!! So ins here are just some of the pictures that we took while visiting!
By this point we really we’re freezing and we we’re also starting to notice our stomachs growling!!

“Hello outside world!”
We left as the museum was closing for the day! We started walking to the place where my mom had booked dinner reservations for us… we also happened to make a few stops along the way…
We stopped in a few of the merchandise stores that they have. I got a shirt and (we actually all got a family road trip shirt that were wearing tomorrow!) I also got a pair of earrings that I really like! In one of the stores I also saw this old Coke refrigerator!
When we were walking we took more pictures of the city as well.
We also happened to stumble into another sweet shop… oops😅 It was really cute and we all got something from the case to eat on the way.

We got back a little early and decided to wander around Jackson square again before we went and ate. Here’s some photos from that! Also I must add that the trees here are absolutely magnificent!
There is also a view of the Mississippi River! When we were done taking pictures we headed back across the square to dinner! We ate at a place called Tableau it was really good!
I had a Ratatouille Lasagna and finished with a raspberry coconut sorbet. We started back to our hotel and when we got there we decided to go into the bar area where there was a jazz band preforming. It was really cool to sit and listen too!!
There were also a ton of people out on the streets playing music too!!
Also here is the front ent of the hotel, it was really pretty!

That’s all for tonight… we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow!!
